My name is Patrick Hasso Kohl. I am a Berlin, Dakar and Cape Town based film director and producer with 15 years experience, specializing in authentic, high-end, non-fictional content productions, and selected commercial collaborations. I am a member of the International Documentary Association (IDA) and Documentary Producers Alliance (DPA).
A multiple award-winning career led to being distributed on all major networks such as Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+, ARD+, and WaterBear Network. I have travelled, worked, listened, learned (and sometimes lived) in more than 30 countries around the globe, collaborating with passionate and like-minded professionals.
My intention is to start a fire, create excitement, and awareness. Intimate storytelling is my feather, cinematic visualization my sword. I enjoy working with honest humans. Humans, who not only transform their surroundings towards a more positive future - they want to rewrite narratives with the power and the spirit to open up our hearts and minds again. Together we can build true, lasting, and meaningful relationships.
